Folk Art

This page contains a wide variety of carvings that do not fall under any other category. They are, simply put, artistic visions I've created out of my own imagination. Birds, fish, amphibians, shellfish and others are all part of the amazing things I encounter while spending time outdoors.
As such they inspired me to create unique pieces of wildlife art that do not fit any standard "definition "

Folk Art Birds

While a lot of my work focuses on “game birds” I also like to carve and paint all other species. I have done commissions on all different sizes of birds - from song birds, wood peckers and raptors to a penguin or two. I love the colors that all species of bird exhibit and love the challenge that a new species brings to my shop.

Although I am largely a three dimensional artist. I occasionally dabble in Flatwork if the subject is of interest to me. I can work from a photo, painting or even interpret an event or story that is dictated to me. The creative options are endless!

I am in Avid outdoorsman, and below you'll see my renditions of species I find of interest as well as other novel creations. From trout, weakfish and snakeheads to frogs and even elephants I’m always open to creating “one-of-a-kind” items for my clients.
