Hillman’s Heirloom Series Turkey calls are some of the best on the market today. Each call is custom carved, painted and tuned by Jode. The calls are made to sound great, be functional and also be an heirloom passed down. Paired with one of his suitcase style decoys you have a deadly combo that will help you fool the wiliest gobblers, but is handsome enough to display in your game room, den or office all year round.
Hillman turkey calls were born out of necessity. A self-taught Turkey hunter Jode was not happy with the sound of mass-Produced turkey calls, so therefore began experimenting with different woods, styles, surface combinations etc. Every call, whether fancy painted pots or his recycled Oyster shells are guaranteed to be filled with Turkey! They work as good as they look.

“Artist Series” Calls
Our artist series calls feature a wide variety of hand painted scenes and wildlife by a member of the Hillman Family. These calls are custom, and commissioned one-of-a-kind piece of artwork painted on either our pot or box calls. Past calls have included turkeys, songbirds, owls, Bobwhite quail, Sika deer, and other forest dwellers that you may encounter while out in the turkey woods. “Hardwood Hollow” Box Calls
Both our pot and box calls are fashioned from carefully hand selected, birds-eye maple, cherry, mahogany, walnut, or other exotic woods from Jode’s Private Inventory. By selecting only, the best quality wood our calls produce rich sounds that resonate through the turkey woods, hedgerows, bottoms or anywhere you hunt.
These calls fit well into a pocket which make for easy transport and allows you to pull them from your vest at a moment’s notice to answer that sudden gobble of an unseen tom!

“Wild Side” Calls
This set of calls are some of our most creative endeavors using material straight from nature like oyster shells, both real and carved wooden Turtle shells, corn cobs, beaver tail etc. Our wood carved turtle calls are a collector favorite and always sell quickly when available. Box turtles, Spotted turtles, Painted turtles and others are just a few of the species Jode has made.
They are beautiful and effective, as well as a neat conversation piece. We also offer the unique turkey fan tail call that is totally functional and can sit on the shelf in your office when not in use as a reminder or times spent in the woods.
