Shorebirds

Shown below you will see a selection of my shorebird Decoys and carvings. Shorebirds were once hunted for food and for sport. This practice was ended in North American in the early 20th century. But the traditions of making Shorebird decoys continues to this day.

The Spring migration on Delaware bay near my home is one of the true wonders of the world. I draw inspiration from this wonderful spectacle and I hope you enjoy seeing my shorebirds below.

Feel free to reach out to me about commissioning your very own shorebird Decoy.
